Language Zipper

Paste a sentence in any language. A small character model trained separately on each of 87 languages measures how many bits it needs to encode your text, and the language that needs the fewest is the guess. The same measurement, applied between the languages themselves, builds a family tree and a map without anyone telling it what a language family is.
