Sign Maker
Flat signs for the 3D printer, built from parts: a head with raised lettering and a frame, on something to stick it in with. Made for cake toppers, good for anything that stands in soil, foam or a flower pot.
- Three heads: a rectangle with rounded corners, an ellipse, or a cloud of overlapping bumps.
- Four ends: a spike, a flat band, an octagonal rod that prints lying down without support, or nothing.
- Lettering in Droid Serif or Droid Sans, up to three lines, sized automatically to fill the head, with an adjustable stroke weight so fine serifs survive the nozzle.
- Text and frame stand out from the plate, so one filament change at a stated layer gives two colours on a single-colour printer.
- A print-time and filament estimate for a Bambu Lab A1, and STL export as one file or as plate and relief for multi-material printers.
