Text Corruptor

Decorate text with Unicode, but with a gradient and in islands: you draw a curve of how corrupted the text should be from its first character to its last, and the effects land on whole clauses, more of them the further the curve has climbed, instead of hitting every letter equally.

• The text is cut into clauses at punctuation, conjunctions and line breaks. Each clause rolls against the corruption squared, so damage is rare early, occasional in the middle and certain at the end.
• Fourteen effects with their own onsets: zero-width breaks, combining marks above, through and below, lookalike letters, overlining, small caps, fraktur, bold script, upside-down text, shouting, interjections, punctuation decay and collapsing spaces.
• Two effects can share one clause once the curve is high enough, and only in combinations that make sense: no two letter alphabets at once, no small caps in a shouted clause.
• The curve is a spline with draggable stops, standing upright next to the text: down is the position in the text, right is how far gone it is.
• A second tab converts text into bold, italic, script, fraktur, double-struck, monospace, small caps, circled, full-width, upside-down, struck through, underlined and overlined Unicode.
• Everything runs in the browser, nothing is uploaded, and the same text with the same seed always produces the same output.
